Tyrone is the largest county in Northern Ireland, stretching from the Sperrins to Lough Neagh and bordered by Derry, Antrim, Armagh, Monaghan, Fermanagh and Donegal, and LocalJams holds 14 venues for it: five in Strabane, two each in Omagh and Moy, and one each in Carrickmore, Coalisland, Cookstown, Dungannon and Sixmilecross. Around 18 gigs are listed over the coming months, almost none ticketed, and trad is the leading tag thanks to one weekly session.

The Strule Arts Centre on George's Street in Omagh is the busiest listed venue, with Ralph McTell's Somewhere Down The Road, Rock Rising, A Christmas Country, Let It Be: The Music of the Beatles and a Springsteen show, all on Friday or Saturday nights. Also in Omagh, The Weigh Inn on Kevlin Road lists Saturday gigs with Kings Call, Paul Sherry and Monsters of Metal. In Strabane, The Alley Theatre carries Celine: My Heart Will Go On, a K-pop Christmas Party and A Christmas Country, and Barrack St has The New Indians Showband over the October bank holiday. Tomneys Bar on Moy Road in Moy lists a trad session every Thursday at 9pm.

Live music in Tyrone: FAQ

Where can I find live music in Tyrone tonight?

Are there free gigs in Tyrone?

Sometimes, but none of the Tyrone gigs currently listed on this page is marked free. We only mark a gig as free when there's positive evidence for it, so the green "Free Entry" badge appears only when the venue or promoter says so. Listings refresh nightly, and the Explore page lets you filter by price.

Where can I find traditional Irish music sessions in Tyrone?

How often are Tyrone gig listings updated?

Every night. Our crawlers read public listings from venue websites, ticketing platforms and established what's-on guides, then clean and de-duplicate them so the listings stay accurate and focused on live music.

Can I find ticketed concerts as well as pub gigs in Tyrone?

Yes. LocalJams lists everything from free trad sessions to ticketed concerts and touring shows. Where a ticket page exists we link straight to it — we never sell tickets ourselves, so the venue or promoter is always the final word on prices and availability.
