Watters Old Coach Inn

Sunday evening is music night at Watters Old Coach Inn in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, where a 7pm show runs almost every week and blues is the house style. Andrew Strong, Ben Reel, Billy Boy Miskimmin, Ronnie Greer and The Reptiles have all played the Sunday slot, with country singers such as Claudia Buckley and Derek Warfield & The Young Wolf Tones on occasional Friday or Saturday nights at 9pm. Roughly half the nights are free and the rest are paid at the door; there are rarely ticket links, so the bar is the place to ask.
