Sin É on Ormond Quay Upper is a Dublin quayside bar with a long record of cheap, late gigs, and its current calendar keeps to that pattern: Friday and Saturday shows at 8pm or 11pm with tickets from about €6 to €17. The booking is local and emerging, from rock bands such as Holy Show, Beltbuckle Overdrive and Darren Flynn's band to electronic acts like ZOiD, Trontsphere and Unit Two Zero, often two or three on a bill. It is a bar rather than a venue, so expect a standing crowd and the music competing with the room.
