Siamsa Tíre

Siamsa Tíre on Neil Armstrong Way in Tralee is Ireland's National Folk Theatre, so its own folk-theatre productions anchor the year, but the auditorium also hosts a steady run of touring concerts, usually Friday or Saturday nights at 8pm. Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Onóir, Ralph McTell and jazz pianist Bill Laurance have played, alongside tribute shows for ABBA, Johnny Cash and Tina Turner and the Sean McCarthy Weekend's opening-night concert. It is a seated theatre and most shows are ticketed in advance.
