Pavilion Theatre

On Marine Road near the seafront in Dún Laoghaire, the Pavilion Theatre is a seated theatre whose concerts come between the drama and dance, typically on weeknights at 8pm. The music booking is strong on folk and singer-songwriters, with Wallis Bird, John Spillane, the Daoiri Farrell Trio, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Pauline Scanlon among those who have played, plus jazz pianist Bill Laurance, indie band Destroyer and soprano Celine Byrne. Tickets go through the Pavilion's own box office, and the odd afternoon matinee appears.
